Defenders successfully destroyed Russian drones in the Kharkiv region.

Defenders showcased how they shot down the first "Shahed" of 2025, a new Russian reconnaissance drone, along with 20 other UAVs in the Kharkiv region.

A video of the combat operation was released by the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, as reported by "Dumka".

According to the brigade, this refers to the air defense operations in the new year. Some drones were flying to attack cities deep in the rear, while others tracked movements of equipment and weaponry and targeted personnel. The video displays the work of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division.

Among these hostile targets was the new Russian reconnaissance UAV "SKAT 350M", "Shahed-136", also known as "Geran-2", the loitering munition "ZALA Lancet", the wings "Orlan-10", "ZALA-Z16", "Supercam-S350", and "Mavic". According to the fighters, each downed target represents a saved artillery piece.
