In the village of Topolya, located in the Kupiansk direction, a border guard inspector, 26-year-old Alexander Lemeshko from Zolochiv, was killed while defending Ukraine from Russian occupiers.
This information was reported by the Telegram channel of the Zolochiv community in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the community administration, Lemeshko was born in Zolochiv, attended school No. 2, and after graduating from college, worked as a security guard in the Kharkiv metro.
He began defending Ukraine in January 2023 and served in the rapid response border command.
"Family and friends remember him as sincere and generous for the good, a true patriot, the best loving son, and a loyal comrade. To his brothers, he was an example of courage and brotherhood in arms. He left a bright memory in the hearts of all who knew him. We express our heartfelt condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the Hero, bowing our heads in deep sorrow. Glory to everyone who defends the freedom and independence of Ukraine at the cost of their own lives!" – reports the community.
