In the Kharkiv region, a resident of the Kupiansk district was sentenced to 5 years in prison based on the evidence collected by the Security Service of Ukraine. She held the position of "Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Kupiansk District Military Administration in the Kharkiv region".
This information was provided to the publication "Dumka" by the spokesperson for the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, Vladyslav Abdula.
According to him, while in her position, the woman issued orders to transfer the occupied educational institutions in the Kupiansk district to Russian "standards" of education. She also ensured that these institutions received Russian textbooks and educational programs, hired individuals willing to work for the occupiers, and conducted anti-Ukrainian propaganda.
Additionally, the collaborator organized trips for her staff to retraining courses in the Russian Federation to further implement Russian educational standards in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region.
Employees of the Security Service detained the enemy accomplice during stabilization activities in February 2023.
Based on the evidence collected, the court found her guilty under parts 3 and 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborative activity).
The exposure and documentation of the illegal activities of the collaborator were carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
