In Kharkiv, the body of a woman was discovered at the scene of a fire.

A woman died in a fire at a residential building in Kharkiv.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the rescuers, on January 19 at 06:48, a call about a fire in a private two-story residential building on Traktorostroiteley Avenue in the Nemyslyansky district of Kharkiv was received on the "101" hotline.

Upon arrival at the scene, the State Emergency Service rescuers determined that the fire had started in a room on the first floor of the residential building. The area of the fire was 10 square meters. During the firefighting operation, firefighters discovered the body of a deceased woman born in 1969.

At 07:36, the fire was localized, and by 09:05 it was completely extinguished. Two emergency response units of the State Emergency Service were involved, using fire trucks. The preliminary cause of the fire is a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
