In Kharkiv, a collaborator known for her "loose tongue" was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

A resident of the Kharkiv region, who provided the occupiers with information about the movements and locations of the Defense Forces, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the prosecutor's office, from May to July 2023, the convicted individual sent text messages via messenger to an agent of the Russian Federation containing data on the movements and locations of military equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. This information was then relayed to representatives of the General Staff of Russia for use during combat operations.

During a public prosecution led by prosecutors from the Office of the Attorney General and the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv, the resident of Izyum was found guilty of disseminating information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under martial law (Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

The convicted individual will remain in custody until the verdict takes legal effect.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal case was conducted by investigators from the Main Investigative Department of the SBU, with operational support from the SBU counterintelligence.
