Терехов рассказал, кто окажет помощь в восстановлении газовой инфраструктуры Харькова после обстрела.

As a result of a massive attack on Kharkiv on December 25, 2024, the city's gas infrastructure was significantly damaged, prompting the Czech Republic to allocate $400,000 for its restoration.

This was reported by Kharkiv's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, during a telethon, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to him, Kharkiv continues to face terror from Russia. Just yesterday, on January 20, a Russian drone "Molniya-1" was found in the yard of a private house, which had not detonated. Emergency service workers retrieved it from the yard.

"Statistics show that 160,000 residents are homeless. There are not enough funds for restoration; no city has that much. Repair work continues in the central part of the city and in Northern Saltivka," Terekhov stated.

In the Czech Republic, the mayor of Kharkiv met with Tomáš Kopečný, who is responsible for Ukraine's reconstruction. During the meeting, they agreed on allocating $400,000 for the purchase of gas equipment that was damaged on December 25 by Russia. On that day, 13 rockets were launched at Kharkiv.

To protect citizens from such attacks, in addition to 30 metro stations, Kharkiv has 3,000 shelters in residential buildings, simpler shelters in schools, and there are also safe bus stops in the city.

Moreover, Kharkiv continues to build underground educational institutions; in addition to 16 classrooms in the metro and one underground school in the city, there are plans to construct 6 more schools. Two of them are nearly complete, several schools will be finished by spring 2025, and others will start operating from September 1, 2025.
