The Russian terrorist army shelled Kharkiv with ballistic missiles and the hybrid munition "Grom-E1" on the evening of November 11.
This was reported by the Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, on his Telegram channel, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to him, the enemy targeted two districts of Kharkiv – Holodna Hora and Nova Babaryia. Currently, efforts are underway to assess the damage and determine if there are any casualties.
"The strikes hit two areas of the city - Holodnohirskiy and Novobavarsky. As of now, no information regarding casualties has been received. The relevant services are inspecting the impact sites," Terekhov wrote.
He added that the shelling was a combination of a ballistic missile and the aviation hybrid munition "Grom-E1".
"Preliminary reports indicate that strikes on the city were carried out using a ballistic missile and the hybrid missile 'Grom-1E'," Terekhov wrote.
It is worth noting that today, November 11, around 22:05, the occupiers dropped a KAB on Kharkiv and launched a ballistic missile strike.
Note: "Grom" is a missile-bomb weapon system developed by the Russian corporation "Tactical Missile Armament". It was first showcased at the MAKS-2015 international airshow.
The "Grom" munitions feature a modular design and are standardized among themselves. The main difference between the "Grom-E1" and "Grom-E2" munitions is the use of a rocket engine in the tail section of the fuselage.
The cruise bomb-missile "Grom-E1" has a fragmentary-explosive modular warhead (MBCH) type 9-J1-7759, weighing 315 kg with a contact fuse. After being dropped, the launch rocket engine activates, and after a short period, the cruise rocket engine begins to operate. The rocket-bomb can descend towards the target at a steep angle.
