It has been revealed how many cafes and restaurants opened in Kharkiv in 2024.

In 2024, dozens of new establishments opened in Kharkiv, including restaurants, cafes, and service enterprises.

This was reported by the Kharkiv City Council, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the city council, Kharkiv made a significant step towards recovery after the challenging times of war in 2024 — 61 new catering establishments were launched in the city. Among them are three restaurants, four bars, eight fast-food outlets, 10 cafes, and 36 coffee shops.

The Department of Administrative Services and Consumer Market reported that the recovery also affected service enterprises. The city welcomed 49 new facilities, including hair salons, car service stations, tire fitting points, and repair workshops.

As of the beginning of 2025, there are approximately 1,600 catering establishments and 1,100 service enterprises operating in Kharkiv, covering all districts of the city.

In the challenging conditions of the energy crisis, Kharkiv businesses are demonstrating resilience. To ensure stable operations amid electricity supply disruptions, 138 catering establishments and 109 service enterprises have been equipped with generators.
