Meteorologists have warned of snow and icy conditions in Kharkiv region on December 6th.

According to meteorologists, tomorrow, December 6, precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain is anticipated in Kharkiv during the day. There may also be light icing and accumulation of wet snow. The southeast wind will reach speeds of 5-10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from -1 to -3°C, while daytime temperatures will hover around 0°C.

Simultaneously, the region is expected to experience precipitation during the day in the form of wet snow and rain. Light icing and wet snow accumulation are also possible. In some areas, fog may reduce visibility to 200-500 meters. The southeast wind will be at 5-10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will vary from -4°C to +1°C, while daytime temperatures will fluctuate between -3°C and +2°C.

According to folk weather predictions, December 6 is the feast day of Saint Nicholas. From this day, the second frosts are expected - for Nicholas: "On Cold Nicholas, snow will pile up." If there is a thaw on Nicholas, it is referred to as the mischief of a hasty winter: "Winter was brought on sleds to Nicholas, here comes the long-awaited thaw." The weather on this day foreshadowed the weather for spring Nicholas (May 22): "As much snow Nicholas gives, that much grass will be on warm Nicholas."
