Russian occupiers attacked a service vehicle of law enforcement officers in the Kharkiv region.
This was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the police, as a result of the shelling, two law enforcement officers sustained injuries. They are currently receiving medical assistance.
It is known that the shelling occurred while the law enforcement officers were working in a service vehicle, a Renault Duster, conducting area patrols. At around 14:00, near the exit from Kupiansk, they were struck by an enemy drone "Molniya," resulting in bodily injuries to the police officers.
An examination of the incident site is underway, and debris from the munitions is being collected. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (War Crimes).
We remind you that today, January 20, a strike from a drone hit near a police service vehicle in the village of Osynovo in the Kupiansk district. As a result of the strike, a 26-year-old and a 42-year-old police officers sustained blast injuries. The vehicle itself was also damaged. The exact type of drone used for the strike is being determined.
