At checkpoints in Kharkiv, National Guard dog handlers discovered an automatic weapon, ammunition, grenades, and a large quantity of drugs.
This information was reported by the 5th Slobozhansk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU), service dogs continue to operate at the checkpoints located at the entrances to Kharkiv.
Thanks to the vigilance and professionalism of the canine teams, a significant amount of weapons, ammunition, explosives, and narcotics are successfully prevented from being brought into Kharkiv on a daily basis.
As noted by the head of the brigade's canine service, an officer with the call sign K-9, the most challenging areas in October of the current year traditionally remained the Chuhuiv, Kyiv, and Sumy directions.
