Google Maps is updating street names in Kharkiv, which are now named after Ukrainian heroes.
This information comes from the public organization "Decolonization. Ukraine," as reported by "Mysl."
According to the organization, Google Maps has updated the names of 50 streets in Kharkiv, renamed by Terekhiv's decree in April 2024.
The map now features streets named after Oleg Ovseienko, Oleg Adamovskyi, Vsevolod Tatkov, Oleksandr Chaban, Anton Derbilov, Dmytro Kochetkov, Oleksandr Lavrenko, and others.
Approximately 50 more streets still appear on the mapping web service under their old names.
