In the Kharkiv region, sappers have neutralized around 600 munitions over the past week.

This was reported during a briefing by the spokesperson of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, Yevhen Vasilenko, as conveyed by "Dumka".

"On November 4, near the village of Husarivka in the Izium district, there was an incident involving the detonation of an explosive device. Two boys, aged 11 and 12, were injured and hospitalized with multiple shrapnel wounds. This situation once again highlights the high level of mine threat in the de-occupied areas," noted Vasilenko.

In total, over the week, rescuers extinguished 78 fires, six of which were caused by enemy shelling in the Izium, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk districts of the region, as well as in the Saltivskyi and Slobidskyi districts of Kharkiv. The emergency services emphasize the increased risk of fires during the autumn-winter period and urge residents to call 101 if necessary.
