In Kharkiv region, teenagers have been uncovered for setting fire to a vehicle belonging to a Ukrainian soldier.
This information was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv Oblast, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the police, the incident occurred on January 11 in the village of Solonytsivka. The children doused a Nissan X-Trail, owned by a serviceman, with a flammable liquid and ignited it. It turns out that the minors were promised money for the "task" they received via Telegram.
Currently, a 15-year-old boy has been charged under part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Intentional destruction or damage to property). The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is being resolved. He faces up to 10 years in prison. Investigators are also gathering evidence to hold his 14-year-old accomplice accountable.
