A student from Kharkiv has become the world champion in jiu-jitsu.

A resident of Kharkiv won two gold medals and one silver medal.

Kharkiv resident Artem Zharikov represented Ukraine as part of the national team in Combat JU-JUTSU at the World Championship in Poland.

This was reported by the Telegram channel KHARKIV SPORT CITY, as conveyed by "Dumka".

A student from Lyceum No. 65 contributed to the Ukrainian team’s medal tally with two gold medals and one silver. Zharikov became the world champion in the Close Contact and Full-Contact categories, and also secured the title of vice-champion in the Ground Fight division among cadets aged 14-15, thus playing a significant role in the overall victory of the Ukrainian team.
