The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, held an off-site government meeting in the Kharkiv region.
He announced this on his Telegram social media page, as reported by "Dumka".
According to him, Kharkiv region is among those areas that received increased funding from the Government this year.
Approximately 16 billion UAH has already been allocated as a subsidy.
Additionally, 6 billion UAH has been allocated for the construction of fortifications in the Kharkiv region.
The completion status of the works is 99.9%. About 800 support points have been constructed and equipped, Shmyhal added.
"The Ministry of Defense has been instructed to ensure that all fortifications are equipped with drainage systems for proper water discharge. Necessary changes have been made to the documentation, and the work has been completed," the message states.
Moreover, Kharkiv region is one of the most mine-contaminated areas.
Currently, around 320 sappers from various government organizations are working on demining here, using 24 mechanical demining machines.
Additionally, there are about 400 sappers from non-governmental and international organizations in the region.
