On the occasion of the Armed Forces Day of Ukraine, the Derhachev Society donated 1,200 FPV drones, battery packs, ground stations, and electronic warfare systems to the military.
As reported by "Dumka," this was announced by the head of the Derhachev Military Administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko.
According to him, a total of 25 million UAH was allocated from the local budget for these purchases.
The military received drones, enhanced batteries, initiation boards, and 12 ground stations for transmitting signals specifically for these FPV drones.
"In 2024, Derhachev has allocated 65 million UAH to support the army, of which 25 million UAH is for the procurement of FPV drones and other related technical equipment that will help our soldiers firmly secure the border and eliminate the enemy at the approaches to Kharkiv, as well as carry out combat tasks in Kursk," Zadorenko said.
The equipment was transferred to various units of the Territorial Defense Forces, National Guard, and the 92nd Brigade. The military states that these drones will be used to support infantry combat operations, remote mining, and direct engagement of the enemy.
