An impeccably preserved 1986 Mercedes-Benz W126 coupe with AMG tuning has been discovered in the USA. Over nearly four decades, the vehicle has only covered 4,943 km. The sports car was featured on the Broad Arrow auction site, where it will soon be available for sale.

This Mercedes 500 SEC AMG 6.0 Widebody is a true rarity, as only about 50 such coupes were manufactured. It's no surprise that collectors are currently seeking them out. This particular time capsule is valued between $500,000 and $600,000.

The Mercedes 500 SEC AMG 6.0 Widebody is in pristine condition. Its body, leather interior, and powertrain are all in excellent shape.

The tuning on the Mercedes W126 is quite extensive. The V8 engine's displacement has been increased to 6 liters, and its power output has risen to 385 hp. With a 4-speed automatic transmission, it accelerates to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, and its top speed reaches 260 km/h. The vehicle's suspension has also been upgraded, and larger brakes have been installed.

The Mercedes 500 SEC AMG can be easily recognized, primarily by its flared fenders (which is why the car is dubbed Widebody). Additionally, the coupe features a subtle body kit, a small spoiler, and black 17-inch wheels.
