Explosions in Kyiv: Russian Armed Forces launched ballistic missiles, revealing the initial images of the destruction.

The Obolon, Svyatoshyn, and Holosiiv districts of the capital were hit. The rocket attack resulted in one fatality, and several others sustained injuries, as reported by the State Emergency Service.

On the morning of February 12, the Russian army launched ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv. The Obolon, Svyatoshyn, and Holosiiv districts were targeted, reported the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Rescue teams are actively working to mitigate the aftermath of the missile strikes. In the Obolon district, two office buildings were damaged, one of which caught fire. According to information from Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, one person has died and three others have been injured. Two individuals required hospitalization, while one received assistance on-site.

In the Svyatoshyn district, the roof of a multi-story building was ablaze, and in Holosiiv, a two-story warehouse caught fire. Firefighters are attempting to extinguish the flames. More than 80 rescuers and 17 units of fire and rescue equipment are operating in the affected areas, as clarified by the State Emergency Service.

The Kyiv regional military administration noted that in addition to the missile strikes, the enemy attacked the region with kamikaze drones during the night. Air defense forces were active in the area, while in the Obukhiv district, non-residential premises were ablaze, and in the Boryspil district, debris from downed UAVs damaged nine private homes and a vehicle.

Officials preliminarily state that there have been no casualties among the civilian population, and there were no strikes on critical infrastructure facilities.

Recall that on the morning of February 11, occupants targeted energy facilities in Ukraine with missile strikes, necessitating emergency power outages.

On February 11, the Poltava region was attacked by Kalibr and ballistic missiles. Explosions were heard in the Lubny and Myrhorod districts.
