The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, published a post in Ukrainian, asserting that there is no real support from Western nations. Khamenei made this statement on platform X.
"The first lesson from the situation in Ukraine is that the support from Western countries and governments that are their puppets is an illusion. All governments must understand this. Those governments that rely on the USA and Europe should look at the current state of Ukraine," Khamenei wrote.
In the comments on Ali Khamenei's publication, Ukrainians were surprised that the Iranian leader has access to the internet.
People also noted that Khamenei dated his post March 1, 2022, instead of 2025.
Furthermore, correspondents pointed out that despite Khamenei hinting that the Ukrainian government is "puppet-like," he is writing in Ukrainian for some reason.
It is worth mentioning that on February 5, US President Donald Trump offered Iran to begin negotiations on a "nuclear peace deal."
In January, Iran refused to recognize Crimea as Russian in an agreement with the Russian Federation for the next 20 years.
