A new Volkswagen ID.Unyx has started arriving in Ukraine. One of the first electric crossovers was spotted in Kyiv, and its photo was published on the t.o.p.c.a.r.s_ua Instagram page.
The Volkswagen ID.Unyx is a 4.6-meter coupe crossover produced in China, from where it is brought to Ukraine and sold at prices ranging from $26,000 to $36,000. It is not an independent model, as it is based on the Cupra Tarvascan.
This explains the unusual design of the Volkswagen ID.Unyx, featuring a sloping roof, sculpted sides, and a pointed rear. The narrow headlights are connected by a LED strip.
In contrast, the interior of the Volkswagen ID.Unyx looks familiar: it comes with a narrow digital instrument panel and a large 15-inch touchscreen. The trunk capacity is 540 liters.
The Volkswagen ID.Unyx electric crossover is quite well-equipped — it includes power-adjustable seats, a parking autopilot, adaptive cruise control, a camera, and a set of safety systems.
The new Volkswagen ID.Unyx is built on the MEB platform, just like the ID.4 model. It is available in a 231-horsepower rear-wheel-drive version and a 340-horsepower all-wheel-drive version, equipped with an 82 kWh battery.
This specific vehicle has 231 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 km/h, with a driving range of 621 km.
Interestingly, a new electric crossover from Geely and Volvo has appeared in Ukraine, offering a range of up to 780 km.
