A fire broke out in the Novobavar district of Kharkiv, while in Odesa, residential buildings and vehicles sustained damage. In Uman, energy workers are focused on restoring electricity supply.

Starting from 20:15 on January 27, the Russian Armed Forces initiated an attack on Ukraine utilizing strike drones, which lasted throughout the night and continued into the morning of January 28. This information comes from a statement by the Air Force press service.

By 22:06, drone groups were simultaneously detected in nine regions.

Consequences of the Drone Attack: Kharkiv

The Mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, reported an attack in the city. Preliminary reports indicate a fire broke out in the Kholodnogorsky district.

Later, he clarified that a civilian enterprise in the Novobavarsky district was hit.

"There is a large fire at the impact site. All relevant services are working," noted the city mayor.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, reported that the strike occurred around 00:35. An enemy "Shahed" damaged a gas pipe and five vehicles. A 59-year-old woman and a 9-year-old girl suffered stress reactions.

Another two drones were discovered in the Kyiv district of the city, with no casualties reported. In the Rogan community, a "Shahed" crash destroyed a private house and a garage, and damaged four nearby private homes. A 62-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man were injured, with the woman hospitalized.

In the village of Shestakovo, a "Geran-2" drone struck the ground, igniting a destroyed private house. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

According to local media "Hvara," citing the director of the Emergency Situations Department of Kharkiv City Council, Bohdan Hladky, reported that the victims at the fire site are residents of nearby houses. Preliminary reports indicate that the strike hit a woodworking shop, and the fire spread over at least 1500 m².

Consequences of the Drone Attack: Odesa

The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, reported that, preliminarily, residential buildings were damaged, and four vehicles caught fire as a result of the attack.

On social media, it was clarified that one of the residential complexes in Odesa was affected. Locals reported a fire on the 17th-18th floors of a high-rise building.

Consequences of the Drone Attack: Uman

The head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, Ihor Taburets, reported on the operation of air defense forces and the aftermath of the attack in Uman region. He assured that all services are working to stabilize the situation in the communal sector.

The Mayor of Uman, Iryna Pletneva, clarified that energy workers are working to restore electricity supply, while Umanvodokanal is operating on generators.

"Uman Teplokomunenergo is working to restore heating in your homes," the official added.

Consequences of the Drone Attack: Chernihiv

The head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Dmytro Brizhynskyi, reported the fall of "Shahed" debris. He later clarified that two private houses were partially destroyed, but there were no casualties.

It is worth noting that military expert Stanislav Bunyatov revealed the "main task of the enemy" for February 2025.

Former SBU employee and military expert Ivan Stupak stated that the Russian Armed Forces aim to create a "cauldron" of 1200 square kilometers in the Pokrovsk direction.
