On Wednesday, December 25, Ukraine faced a massive rocket attack. New power outage schedules have been implemented in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa. This was reported by DTEK.
In light of the extensive missile strike, "Ukrenergo" issued commands to implement blackout schedules. DTEK noted that the commands from Ukrenergo may vary throughout the day and urged residents to stay updated on any changes.
"Due to the missile attack, forced outages are taking place. This is a preventive measure aimed at avoiding significant damage to the energy infrastructure. As soon as the threat of missile strikes decreases, specialists will gradually restore power," the website stated.
In Kyiv, power will be turned off in a staggered manner across 11 subgroups starting from 6:00 AM. You can check the current information and find your turn on the portal "DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks" or on the portal Yasno.
Subgroups 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2: power will be unavailable until 09:30.
In the Kyiv region, outages will start from 6 AM. Current information can be checked on the website "DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Networks".
Subgroups 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2: power will be unavailable until 09:00.
Subgroups 3.1, 3.2: power will be unavailable until 10:30.
Subgroups 4.1, 4.2: power will be unavailable until 09:00.
Subgroups 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 6.2: power will be unavailable until 10:30.

2Meanwhile, reports from Dnipro indicated that explosions were heard in waves across various city districts, with the possibility of further strikes. Monitoring chats reported groups of missiles heading towards the city, as well as to Samara and Kamianske. Air defense systems were also active.
Emergency power outages have been implemented in the city. No official information about casualties has been received yet. Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, reported that the Russian army has been launching massive attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region since morning, attempting to destroy the region's energy system.
According to him, a search and rescue operation was completed in Kryvyi Rih overnight on December 25 following a missile strike that occurred the day before.
"A 43-year-old man has died. 17 people were injured, including girls aged 14 and 16. 12 wounded individuals have been hospitalized. The entrance of a building was destroyed from the fourth to the first floors. Additionally, 4 apartment buildings were damaged. Nine shops, 3 food establishments, and over two dozen vehicles were also damaged," Lysak said.
