In light of recent reports following a phone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the war in Ukraine, a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Alex" shared a video from the Pokrovsky direction on his Telegram channel "Officer+" publishing an ironic take on the peace negotiations.
The footage, captured by a drone, shows four Russian occupiers struggling to pull a damaged "Niva" that is stuck in a field near Pokrovsk.
"What ceasefire? These 'guys' can’t even pull a 'convertible Niva' out of the mud near Pokrovsk, and here you are with your problems and panic. Well, the boys later got some help... erm, helped to die. They probably cursed that 'Niva' like crazy before they kicked the bucket," — the soldier captioned the video.
According to the latest data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 10:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, there were 112 combat clashes on the front line in one day. The situation remains tense in the Pokrovsky and Kursk directions, where the enemy is concentrating its main offensive efforts.
"In the Pokrovsky direction over the past day, the aggressor attacked our positions 30 times in the areas of the settlements of Vodyane Vtoroye, Yelizavetovka, Luch, Zverev, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Andriivka, Aleksandrovka, Dachne, and Shevchenko," — the General Staff reported.
