"Мы готовы к миру": Зеленский подчеркнул, что администрация Трампа должна учитывать позицию Украины.

Ukraine is ready for peace, and no one desires the end of the war more than Ukrainians. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Fox News.

"No one wants the war to end more than we do, the Ukrainians," Zelensky said.

He explained that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump needs to understand Ukraine's position.

"We are ready for peace. But we must be in a strong position. We need guarantees," Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, peace will be established through diplomacy.

Zelensky did not apologize to Trump

Volodymyr Zelensky stated that it would be difficult for Ukraine without U.S. support, but he did not apologize to the American president.

"It will be difficult for us without U.S. support. That's why I am here," Zelensky said.

At the same time, when asked if he regretted what happened today in the Oval Office, Zelensky answered affirmatively.

"Yes, I believe it was a bad situation. I am always open to the media, but this should have happened behind closed doors. I want our partners to understand us correctly," Zelensky emphasized.

The President of Ukraine is convinced that relations with Trump can improve despite today's dispute.

"Yes, of course. These are relations between two nations. Your people help save ours. Human rights come first, people come first," Zelensky noted.

He also mentioned that he is unsure whether the dispute in the Oval Office was planned.

Is Trump too close to Putin?

In response to this question, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed a desire for the U.S. president to be on Ukraine's side.

"Trump said today that he is in the middle between Russia and Ukraine. I would like Trump to be more on our side," Zelensky said.

The President of Ukraine also noted that he does not know when an agreement on rare earth minerals can now be reached. Immediately after the interview, the White House reacted, stating that Donald Trump is no longer interested in restoring that agreement.

As a reminder, Trump explained what Zelensky needs to say to restart negotiations.
