Individuals with the status of "labor veteran" are entitled to various benefits. This entitlement is governed by the law of Ukraine "On the Basics of Social Protection for Labor Veterans and Other Elderly Citizens." This was stated by the press service of Ministry of Social Policy.
Only those with an official status of "labor veteran" are eligible for benefits. This means individuals who have been issued the corresponding certificate.
"The certificate and badge of a labor veteran are issued by the labor and social protection authorities at the veteran's place of residence, while military veterans receive them from the agencies responsible for their pension provision," the Ministry of Social Policy's statement reads.
Despite the extensive list of benefits available to veterans, many of these opportunities are not implemented in practice, primarily due to insufficient funding.
