The weather forecast for Ukraine warns of low air temperatures across most regions and a particular frost reaching -19 in the eastern areas. Additionally, due to the influence of an atmospheric front, precipitation is expected in the west and north. Meteorologist Natalia Didenko wrote on her Facebook page about where the coldest parts of the country are and when the thermometer will rise above zero.
Didenko cautioned that a warming trend is approaching Ukraine, which could begin on February 25. According to her, temperatures will gradually increase. While the first days are expected to see temperatures between +1 and +6, later it will range from +4 to +9 over most of the territory, and up to +10 in the south. However, on February 19, warmth has yet to arrive, and frost will persist, she explained.

The weather in Kyiv will feature sub-zero temperatures and icy conditions, the meteorologist notes. She predicts temperatures from -1 to -3 with light snowfall.

It is worth noting that on February 18, meteorologist Natalia Ptukhа from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center discussed when a warming trend will arrive in Ukraine. According to her, from February 21-22, a high-pressure system will begin to influence the weather, bringing cold conditions without precipitation. However, a warm front will follow, initiating a thaw.
