Willing to earn 100,000 hryvnias? The State Employment Service has revealed the highest-paying professions available.

Recently, Ukraine has witnessed a trend of decreasing numbers of specialists in the labor market, which has compelled employers to raise salaries. Engineering professions earn the most—approximately 100,000 hryvnias. This was reported in an interview with "RBK-Ukraine" by Yulia Zhovtiak, the director of the State Employment Service.

According to her, the labor market during wartime has vividly showcased the structural imbalances in the domestic economy. On one hand, Ukraine faces the challenges of wartime, while on the other, society and the state have recognized the need for radical changes in the labor market, without which the Ukrainian economy is doomed to lag behind.

Yulia Zhovtiak stated that people currently require higher salaries, with military personnel earning the most at present.

"This is both correct and justified. Among non-military sector enterprises, the IT industry continues to offer the highest earnings. Additionally, sectors such as real estate, transportation, logistics, and HR are also thriving. Technicians of various equipment and CNC machine operators earn salaries of 80,000 to 100,000 hryvnias. Engineering professions start at a minimum of 100,000 hryvnias. The agricultural sector also offers decent salaries," the director of the State Employment Service explained.

She added that salaries will not decrease because the laws of demographics and competition are always at play, and in the long term, they are expected to rise while maintaining their current structure. For in-demand specialties, salaries are only set to increase.
