Gave three weeks: Trump demands Europe to prepare Ukraine's surrender, says MEP.

Трамп дал Европе три недели на подготовку капитуляции Украины, заявил евродепутат.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has given European leaders three weeks to agree on the terms of Ukraine's capitulation in the Russian-Ukrainian war, threatening to withdraw American troops from Europe if they refuse, wrote Finnish Member of the European Parliament Mika Aaltola on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Дональд Трамп, Мика Аалтола, Трамп дал три недели Европе, капитуляция Украины, США выйдут из Европы

"The United States has given us three weeks to agree on the terms of Ukraine's capitulation. If we do not do this, the United States will exit Europe. Trump prioritizes Russia's security issues now and in the future. Let them sort out their own mess. We have three weeks to step up," wrote the Finnish MEP.

Mika Aaltola does not provide evidence for his claims.

Trump Wants to Withdraw U.S. Troops from Europe: What We Know

During a forum in Davos on January 23, Donald Trump stated that he would demand NATO countries, particularly European members of the Alliance, to increase defense spending from 2% of GDP to 5%.

Also on January 23, the Italian agency Ansa, citing a diplomatic source, reported that Trump wants to withdraw 20,000 U.S. troops from Europe.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated on February 13 that the States would focus on the Pacific region, and European leaders should step up and "take primary responsibility for the defense of the continent."

The Chairman of the Munich Security Conference, German diplomat Christoph Heusgen, said before the event on February 14 that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance might announce a withdrawal of U.S. troops from Europe. During his speech at the conference, Vance did not announce a withdrawal from Europe but sharply criticized European leaders for allegedly straying from the 'core values' shared by both the States, noting that European countries need to invest more in their own security.

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated on February 20 that Trump will be the president of peace, and his contacts with the President of the Russian Federation will help end the war in Ukraine.

Also on February 20, media reported that thousands of people took to the streets in the U.S. to protest Donald Trump's policies.
