On the eve of the New Year, a resident of Nova Vodyla in the Kharkiv region was killed.
This was reported by the Nova Vodyla community, as conveyed by "Dumka".
"Before the New Year could even knock on our door, we were once again shaken by terrible news from the front. On December 31, during combat operations near the settlement of Ivanopole in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region, our fellow countryman, Nova Vodyla resident, Mytsik Borys Volodymyrovych, born on November 14, 1991, was killed," the statement said.
According to the community's information, the defender served as a pilot of unmanned aerial vehicles in the remote mining platoon of the strike drone aviation complexes of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Borys was born and raised in Nova Vodyla. He went to defend Ukraine in the summer of 2024.
In peacetime, before mobilization, Borys worked at the company "Danko Decor," where he was known as a responsible worker, a decent, helpful, and friendly man. His large and close-knit family has been left orphaned by this loss: a mother, a father, an older brother and sister, and a fifteen-year-old son.
