Under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, JSC "Kharkivoblenergo" has received five Isuzu service vehicles and one Iveco vehicle.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the ministry, the transfer of special vehicles took place within the framework of international cooperation for technical assistance between the Ministry of Energy and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
By the end of the current year, Japanese partners plan to provide additional equipment, including a truck with a manipulator and five automotive lifts.
Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, the energy sector of Kharkiv has lost over 200 units of vehicles. The assistance provided will help replace the destroyed and damaged special equipment during combat operations, as well as ensure the conduct of emergency repairs at electricity generation and transmission facilities.
The Japanese government agency JICA systematically supports the Ukrainian energy sector through bilateral cooperation with the Ukrainian government by supplying auxiliary equipment for the restoration of energy facilities affected by Russian attacks, enhancing the resilience of the energy system, and increasing the capacity of distributed generation.
