Ukrainian forces are advancing in the Kharkiv region, according to ISW.

Ukrainian forces have made advances in the vicinity of Hlukhiv, successfully repelling enemy attacks and inflicting significant losses on Russian units.

This information was reported in a morning update on November 20 by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), as conveyed by "Dumka."

According to the institute, on November 19, it was reported that Ukrainian troops had successfully progressed north of Kharkiv. Geolocation data published on the same day indicated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces occupied a forested area near Hlukhiv, located to the southeast of this settlement.

Despite the active efforts of Russian troops to hold their positions, Ukrainian defenders effectively repelled enemy assaults. Russian units, including the Chechen battalion "West-Akhmat," the 128th Brigade of Combat Reserve, and the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation, attempted to advance in several directions - in the areas of Liptsy, Hlukhiv, and Volchansk.

According to the commander of one of the Ukrainian battalions, during one of the attacks, Russian forces lost 139 personnel while trying to advance just 200 meters. He also emphasized that the enemy's ability to maintain a high pace of attack will depend on the effectiveness of Ukrainian counterattacks.

This is yet another example of the resilience and professionalism of the Ukrainian army, which continues to liberate its homeland while inflicting significant losses on the enemy in terms of personnel and equipment.
