The work of meteorologists involves predicting the onset of storms and tracking their movement. Currently, American meteorologists are monitoring a massive winter storm that is about to hit the United States, stretching over 2400 kilometers. Scientists have also released a map illustrating the impact of this major winter storm, which has quickly become the subject of online jokes, as reported by Daily Mail.

The AccuWeather forecast map depicts a pink, phallic-shaped storm sweeping through states from Kansas to Virginia. The shape of the storm's impact has become a source of humor: some users joked about the storm's size, while others compared it to a sex toy, dubbing it the "Great Blizzard of 2025."

According to meteorologists, the winter storm is likely to bring heavy snowfall to areas ranging from most of Nebraska to southern and central Ohio and western Virginia. It is expected that snow accumulations will range from 7 to 15 centimeters, with some regions potentially seeing up to 30 centimeters of snow. However, meteorologists do not rule out the possibility of significantly higher snow totals in certain areas affected by the storm.

AccuWeather meteorologist Alex Sosnowski notes that the storm is set to become the first widespread winter storm of the season for the central and eastern United States. Researchers predict that travel will likely be disrupted during this period.

зимний шторм, зима шторм, шторм зима

Despite the unfavorable forecast from meteorologists, online users seem to be taking it lightly. Most focused on the quirky winter storm map, while some even added their own touches, emphasizing the associations they had. Others limited themselves to jokes about the storm's shape and color.

Meteorologists point out that several major cities will be in the storm's path, including:

  • Kansas;
  • St. Louis;
  • Kansas City;
  • Missouri;
  • Springfield;
  • Illinois;
  • Indianapolis;
  • Cincinnati;
  • Dayton;
  • Ohio.

Researchers forecast a significant amount of snow but warn that it won't be the only issue. A more destructive ice storm is expected, as heavy ice is likely to topple numerous trees and power lines, which could block roads.
