The information that emerged yesterday, November 22, regarding the alleged presence of North Korean troops in the Kharkiv region is not accurate.
This was stated by the Operational Tactical Group "Kharkiv," as reported by "Dumka."
It has been communicated that the claim about the presence of North Korean military personnel in the Kharkiv region is false. The individual who is the primary source of this information is not an official spokesperson for the OTG "Kharkiv" and commented on the operational situation outside of their competence,” the OTG noted.
They urged the media and the public to rely on information published through the official communication channels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the OTG "Kharkiv," the operational situation in the Kharkiv direction has not undergone significant changes, and the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to withstand the pressure from Russian occupation troops.
It is worth noting that the commander of the combined unit 153 OMb, Nazar Kishak, reported the alleged presence of North Korean troops in the Kharkiv region during the telethon "Unified News."
According to his information, North Korean military personnel are already present in the Kharkiv direction at both close and distant ranges. The commander did not provide details about the number of these troops but mentioned that the Koreans are accumulating and organizing into units, preparing for deployment at the front line.
