A new alert system will be established in one of the communities in Kharkiv region for over one million hryvnias.

The deputies of the Zlatopol City Council approved funding for a project that will benefit three communities within the municipality.
В одной из общин Харьковщины будет разработана новая система оповещения, стоимостью свыше миллиона гривен.

The Zlatopol community will allocate 1.1 million hryvnias for the implementation of a local warning system, utilizing both budgetary and grant funds.

This decision was made by the deputies of the Zlatopol City Council during the 62nd session, as reported by "Dumka".

During the latest session of the Zlatopol City Council, amendments were made to the Program for Creating Material Reserves for Preventing and Mitigating Emergency Situations. One of the primary decisions was to allocate 1.1 million hryvnias for the development of a new population alert system.

Mayor Nikolai Bakshiev explained that the project will cover not only the city of Zlatopol but also the neighboring villages of Grushino and Rzhavchik. Both budgetary and grant funds will be employed for its implementation. According to the official, the system's budget will cover design, construction, and future expansion.

However, not all deputies supported this decision. Viktor Namchuk expressed criticism, noting that the community is already adequately equipped with modern warning systems. "Almost every resident receives alarm signals on their phone. Perhaps it would be more prudent to allocate these funds for the installation of a mobile shelter in the city center," the deputy remarked.

In response, Nikolai Bakshiev emphasized that the initiative for the new warning system is a requirement from regulatory bodies.

Despite the discussions, the deputies approved the amendments to the program by a majority vote, confirming the project's funding.
