The court in Kharkiv found a serviceman guilty of aiding in the production and use of a fake driver's license and imposed a fine of 8,500 UAH.
This information was reported to "Dumka" from the verdict of the Chervonozavodskyi District Court of Kharkiv.
In Kharkiv, the Chervonozavodskyi District Court examined the case of a junior sergeant who attempted to use a counterfeit driver's license. According to the case materials, the man, a native of Makiyivka in the Donetsk region, who served in an engineering and sapper unit, ordered the forgery through social media.
To obtain the fake document, he sent his personal information to an unknown individual via messenger and transferred 20,000 UAH for the "service." He received the driver's license by mail and used it while driving at a checkpoint near Chuhuiv. During a document check, the police established that the license was counterfeit.
An expert examination confirmed that the document did not meet official standards. As a result, the court found the serviceman guilty under Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. By the court's decision, the man was fined 8,500 UAH.
