In the Kharkiv region, hospitals have received 23 Tesla Powerwall energy storage systems, provided as part of the "Power for Health" project by the Evgeny Pivovarov Charitable Foundation.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Council, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the council, medical institutions in the Kharkiv region have received 23 Tesla Powerwall energy storage systems. The project is being implemented with the support of the American charitable organization Direct Relief, the government of Poland, as well as the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Health of Ukraine.
In total, the region's hospitals have already been provided with 161 energy systems, with an additional 244 scheduled for delivery in the near future. Furthermore, the Regional Clinical Hospital has received 7 pallets of medications to support operations in the event of potential power outages.
The Tesla Powerwall 2.0 systems are lithium-ion batteries that store energy and can power equipment during outages.
