Russian invaders struck the Nemishlyansky district of Kharkiv twice, injuring a 65-year-old man.
This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov during the telethon "Unified News," as conveyed by "Dumka."
"This is not the first time we have faced an attack from the enemy using the 'Lightning' type of weapon. This time, one person—a 65-year-old man—was injured. Additionally, private homes and vehicles were damaged," he stated.
According to Terekhov, the occupiers use 'Lightning' to psychologically pressure the people and destroy local infrastructure. He emphasized that the residents of Kharkiv will restore everything and hold on until a just peace is achieved.
"I cannot say that we have become accustomed to the strikes. However, the most important thing is how we respond to them. Therefore, today it is impossible to intimidate the people of Kharkiv," the mayor added.
Recall that yesterday, January 9, around 3:00 PM, Russians launched the first strike with the 'Lightning' UAV on Kharkiv. There is a fire at the site of the enemy drone's impact. The mayor of Kharkiv reported the second shelling around 3:30 PM. Subsequently, it became known where the second enemy drone struck in Kharkiv.
