A soldier from Ukraine reports that Russian troops are hesitant to launch assaults and lack familiarity with the terrain in the ongoing battles in Bilohorivka.

The occupiers are focused on capturing this settlement and establishing engineering positions there. Their plan is to build up reserves and then advance towards Siversk with the aim of surrounding it, says Maxim Antonov.
Боец ВСУ сообщил, что солдаты РФ не желают штурмовать и плохо ориентируются на местности в боях под Белогоровкой.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are trying to capture Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region from the Severodonetsk direction, but they are constrained in conducting tactical assaults due to weather conditions and extremely poor navigation in the area. This was reported by the chief of artillery of the 1st Air Assault Battalion of the 81st Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Maksym Antonov, during a telethon.

"They believe that if they take this settlement, they will set up engineering positions, and then be able to accumulate reserves and advance towards Severodonetsk with the aim of encircling it," he explained.

According to him, the number of enemy assaults in this section of the front has decreased in recent days due to weather conditions.

"The enemy personnel are quite poorly oriented in the terrain. This has been demonstrated in combat practice. The Russian servicemen we captured were lost in the area. They deployed drones, and the assault group operated under the drones," he emphasized.

He noted that Ukrainian forces have repeatedly recorded refusals from Russian soldiers to carry out assaults in the Severodonetsk direction due to fear of death or injury.

"For instance, the first assault group goes in, followed by the second, then the third. And each one faces failure. The others, who are sitting back and witnessing these failures, start to think that perhaps their command is sending them to their deaths. This has been repeatedly observed in intercepts—commanders simply threatened them with death over the air for refusing to carry out specific tasks," said Maksym Antonov.

The military official noted that recently the number of enemy reconnaissance drones, specifically "Orlan," around Bilohorivka has decreased. This is attributed to the weather and the efforts of Ukrainian anti-drone units using FPV drones.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Armed Forces completed the clearance of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region from Russian forces. DeepState analysts have updated the combat map. The areas around Kupiansk are marked in green, indicating that this territory is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
