The personnel of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kherson direction are increasingly resorting to desertion. This was reported by the National Resistance Center.
"There has been a rise in desertion cases among the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region," the statement reads.
The National Resistance Center clarified that additional National Guard forces have arrived in the region to search for deserters, acting as punitive units.
"The reason for fleeing and self-harm incidents is the occupiers' unwillingness to die due to the ambitions of a sick dictator," the National Resistance Center noted.
They also pointed out that the enemy is settling the occupiers along the banks of the Dnipro River in empty Ukrainian homes, as well as in seized dormitories, for which the local occupation administration is compiling lists of suitable premises for resettlement.
"The National Resistance Center urges residents to report enemy positions and help Russians terminate their contracts early," the NCs emphasized.
As a reminder, on December 21, the partisan movement "Ateş" reported that Russian military commanders are refusing to assault the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kherson region.
In November, ISW analysts reported a high level of desertion within the Russian Armed Forces.
