Kate Middleton and Prince William follow a unique rule in raising their children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. This is reported by Express.
It has been revealed that the royal couple has adopted a distinctive approach to disciplining their heirs.
Instead of implementing time-outs, they focus on conversation and understanding to manage their children's behavior. A source stated: "There is no 'naughty step,' but there is a 'talking couch.'
The insider clarified that when one of the children starts to misbehave, one of the parents takes them aside for a calm discussion.
"The misbehaving child is removed from the scene of the conflict or distraction and is talked to calmly by either Kate or William," the source noted.
The parents always maintain their composure, never yelling at the children and explaining everything calmly.
The source added: "Children are absolutely forbidden to yell, and any hint of shouting at each other is met with removal."
Additionally, they mentioned that George, Charlotte, and Louis' nanny, Maria Borrallo, who trained at Norland, coordinates all decisions with the Waleses.
"It's a military operation, but you would never guess it because they are incredibly dedicated to raising their children and ensuring everything is peaceful and happy for the three of them," the insider added.
It is reported that the children's nanny earns up to £120,000 a year.
Ms. Borrallo, a graduate of Norland College, joined the royal household in 2014 when Prince George was about eight months old.
Ms. McAlaran previously noted that Ms. Borrallo not only plays a crucial role in the children's upbringing but can also "provide important emotional support, ensuring strong bonds are maintained even as the children grow up." Despite Ms. Borrallo's significant role, Prince William and Princess Kate are reportedly very hands-on parents.
As a reminder, Kate Middleton broke an important tradition.
