A young man and a woman tragically lost their lives in a fire near Kharkiv, according to the State Emergency Service.

In the Kharkiv region, during the firefighting operation, rescuers discovered the bodies of two victims.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the State Emergency Service, yesterday, November 27, at 17:12, a report was received about a fire in the residential sector of the village of Olshany, located in the Solonytsivka community of the Kharkiv region.

Upon arrival, the rescuers found that a residential house was on fire. The flames engulfed the house over an area of 80 square meters. During the search, firefighters discovered the bodies of an 18-year-old young man and a 42-year-old woman. A 20-year-old man was successfully rescued.

At 18:13, the fire was contained, and by 19:33, it was completely extinguished. A total of 9 rescuers and 3 units of equipment were involved in firefighting efforts. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
