On the morning of Wednesday, November 20, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Explosions were heard at least twice in the capital, at 5:45 and 7:55. The KCAA informed about the operation of the air defense system.
Debris from the Russian armed forces' drones fell in the Dnipro district of the city, causing a fire in an apartment of a high-rise building.
"A fire broke out in an apartment of a multi-story residential building," said KCAA chief Serhiy Popko, adding that information about any casualties is being clarified.
5The Telegram channel "Kyiv Movement" reports that an apartment in the "Comfort Town" residential complex is currently on fire. However, it is unclear whether the fire is related to the recent attack by the Russians.
As later informed by the KCAA, after a detailed inspection and verification of data, the fall of drone debris in the Dnipro district is not confirmed.

Meanwhile, the police of Kyiv region informs that damage has been recorded at two educational institutions, three administrative buildings, agricultural machinery, two stores, and a service station.

Recall that on the night of November 19, Russia attacked Ukraine with 87 Shahed-type strike drones and unidentified drones from Kursk, Oryol (RF), and Crimea. It was confirmed that 51 enemy drones were shot down in various regions, and another 30 enemy drones were locally lost.
