In the Kharkiv region, a tenant evading rent payments has been ordered by the court to pay nearly 400,000 UAH.
This information was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the prosecutor's office, there are non-residential buildings located in Berestine, with ownership rights registered to a limited liability company. Previously, this company had entered into land lease agreements for housing and public development on municipal property with the city council.
However, it turned out that the LLC had not paid rent for over a year, thereby utilizing municipal land in violation of land legislation. Consequently, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit to recover nearly 400,000 UAH for the city council due to land use.
The court granted the prosecutor's claim for almost 180,000 UAH, while the proceedings regarding the recovery of an additional 200,000 UAH were closed following the voluntary payment of the debt. Thus, the interests of the Berestine City Territorial Community have been fully restored.
