A soldier from the Kharkiv region, Alexander Kichan, was killed on March 5, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Vodiane in the Donetsk region.
This information was confirmed by the Zolochiv Town Council on January 7, 2025, as reported by "Dumka".
Kichan served as a senior operator in the 2nd anti-tank platoon of the anti-tank company of the 53rd OMBr in the Donetsk area.
The last time the soldier contacted his family was on March 1, 2023.
"All this time they lived with hope for a reunion, but it was not meant to be...", the message states.
The soldier died near the settlement of Vodiane in the Donetsk region on March 5, 2023.
He is survived by his mother, sisters, brothers, wife, and three children.
