A resident of Izium, located in the Kharkiv region, is suspected of collaboration.
This information has been reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the prosecutor's office, during the occupation of Izium, the local resident voluntarily collaborated with the Russian invaders. He took on the role of a "police patrol officer".
The collaborator was responsible for guarding the "district police department" building, maintaining duty, and processing documents in accordance with Russian legislation. For his work, he received a salary of 40,000 rubles.
Currently, the traitor is evading Ukrainian investigation on the territory of Russia. The issue of declaring him wanted is being considered.
At present, the 37-year-old man has been declared a suspect in absentia for collaborative activities (part 7 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
