In the Kharkiv region, 60 million UAH has been allocated to cover mortgage interest for veterans.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, as reported by "Dumka".
According to Synegubov, veterans have already begun to take advantage of this mortgage program. This regional initiative supports defenders by providing compensation for a portion of the interest rate on housing loans, helping veterans and their families acquire their own homes under favorable conditions.
The first four veterans have already seized this opportunity and secured a mortgage with advantageous terms. For contract servicemen, 3% of the annual interest is compensated from the regional budget, effectively resulting in a zero-interest mortgage. Additionally, for combat participants and their family members, 6 out of 7% of the annual interest is covered by the regional budget.
"A total of 60 million UAH has been allocated for interest rate financing under the regional program. For 2024, 12 million UAH is earmarked. Veterans can take advantage of this opportunity and purchase housing on favorable terms," he noted.
