Memorial plaques honoring fallen National Guard soldiers were unveiled on the facade of a Kharkiv lyceum.

Memorial plaques have been unveiled on the facade of an educational institution in Kharkiv in honor of fallen alumni.

According to "Dumka," this was reported on the Telegram channel of the "Spartan" brigade.

As per military sources, memorial plaques were installed at Lyceum No. 107 in tribute to the fallen soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine - Denis Gerasimov and Sergey Istomin.

"Sergey Istomin served in the rocket and artillery division of the 3rd Operational Brigade 'Spartan' since 2019. Denis Gerasimov voluntarily went to the front in 2022 and joined the ranks of the 'Azov' brigade," the military stated.

The honor of unveiling the memorial plaques was given to the father and wife of the fallen National Guardsmen.

Participants of the event laid flowers and honored the memory of the fallen defenders with a moment of silence.
