Kyiv is set to experience its coldest temperatures as the weather forecast for Ukraine predicts frigid conditions in the last week of autumn.

This week, heavy snowfall is not expected in Ukraine, except for certain regions where brief precipitation may occur. In many areas, sunny weather will give way to cloudiness brought in by a cyclone from Poland and Belarus. However, it will not lead to significant adverse weather conditions. This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Ptukha from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Weather Forecast for Today

On Tuesday, November 26, wet snow and rain are likely in the Luhansk, Donetsk regions, and Crimea. In the western, northern, and Vinnytsia regions, there may be icy conditions on the roads.

Nighttime temperatures will range from -2 to -7 degrees, around 0 degrees in the extreme west and east of the country and in Crimea; during the day, temperatures will vary from -2 degrees to 3 degrees above zero, with most western regions and Odessa region seeing +2 to +7 degrees.

On Wednesday, November 27, precipitation will shift to the western and northern regions, as well as to the Kharkiv region. During these days, fog could complicate road traffic, especially at night and in the morning.

Nighttime temperatures will range from -2 to -8 degrees, with areas in the west and southeast hovering around zero. During the day, thermometers will show between -3 and +3 degrees, with western regions, Crimea, and Odessa region reaching up to +7 degrees.

In Kyiv, the night of November 27 will be the coldest of the week, with temperatures dropping to -5 to -7 degrees, but no snow is expected, noted Ptukha.

During the day on the 28th, temperatures are expected to reach around zero, with no precipitation, while light wet snow and rain are forecasted for November 29.

By the end of the week, the weather will improve: sunshine will return, and precipitation will cease. According to Natalia Ptukha, early December is also expected to be calm due to the influence of an anticyclone.
