ISW confirmed the advancement of Russian forces near Kupiansk.

Russian propagandists claim successes in the Kupiansk region, but the ISW only confirms isolated advances in this area.

This information was obtained by "Dumka" from the ISW (Institute for the Study of War) report dated November 28.

According to the ISW, on November 27, Russian military correspondents reported partial advances of their troops in the vicinity of Dvuhletnyaya, which is north of Kupiansk. They also assert that fighting is taking place around this settlement.

According to propaganda sources, Russian forces are attempting to cross the Oskol River near Novomlynske and are conducting offensive operations in the areas of Kolesnikovka and Kruglyakovka, located southeast of Kupiansk. Additionally, one Russian military blogger claimed that their units allegedly captured the eastern part of Kupiansk itself.

However, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) report that there is no evidence of such significant successes by Russian forces. They note that the actions of the occupiers are limited to a narrow section in the eastern part of Kupiansk.
